Flight Simulator Hardware for Console
Upgrade Your Experience with Xbox Flight Simulator Controls
If you want to experience Microsoft Flight Simulator at its best on Xbox Series X|S, we recommend upgrading from your traditional Xbox controller to a joystick or yoke system.
Flight Simulator hardware provides a more precise and realistic handling of your virtual aircraft compared to your Xbox controller. Getting yourself specialized hardware not only enhances your flight experience but also immerses you fully in the detailed (and sometimes challenging) world of Microsoft Flight Simulator. You'll experience the skies with unparalleled authenticity and control, far beyond what standard controllers can offer.
Please note: the Xbox flight controls listed on this page are only compatible with Xbox Series X|S.
There is currently no hardware that is compatible with cloud gaming.
Our most sold Flight Yoke and Throttle Quadrant are now available for use on Xbox Series X|S as well! Enjoy the precision and versatility of Honeycomb's award-winning Alpha Flight Controls and Bravo Throttle Quadrant while soaring to the sky in your favorite airplane.
Please note: in order to make your Bravo Throttle Quadrant and Charlie Rudder Pedals compatible with Xbox Series X|S, you need to connect them via the Honeycomb Xbox Hub and Alpha XPC.
Whether you choose a VelocityOne Flightstick (joystick) or VelocityOne Flight Control System (yoke), you're choosing a complete set of flight controls.
With both controllers, you can access a set of full flight controls for Xbox Series X|S, including throttle(s) and rudder.
Looking to add extra realism to your simulator? Then you can add the VelocityOne Rudder to your setup as well.
Please note: your VelocityOne Rudder must be connected through your Turtle Beach flight controller to ensure compatibility with Xbox.
Want to experience the thrill of realistically controlling an Airbus or Boeing aircraft?
Then, the Thrustmaster TCA-series is your hardware of choice. The Thrustmaster TCA-series flight controllers are designed for flight simulator-adjusted replicas for Xbox (and PC), making your virtual flights as realistic and immersive as possible.
Please note: to make an additional throttle quadrant or rudder pedals work with Xbox Series X|S, you must connect them directly to an Xbox-compatible flight stick or yoke.
A joystick or a yoke is essential hardware for controlling your airplane in Flight Simulator.
A joystick is typically used in some GA (General Aviation) aircraft, different airliners (such as Airbus), fighter planes, and helicopters. A yoke is typical in most GA aircraft (like Cessna's) and airliners (such as Boeing or Bombardier).
If you prefer to fly aircraft controlled by a stick, choose a joystick; if you prefer those controlled by a yoke, opt for a yoke. If you're undecided, a joystick is a great starting point due to its versatility and ease of use.
When selecting your Xbox Flight Simulator controls, you need to be aware that different brands are not compatible with each other, unlike on PC.
Unfortunately, for those flying on Playstation and looking for a Playstation Joystick; there aren't many options, only three flight sticks are compatible with Playstation.
