What components are used in a Flightsim PC?
When buying a Flightsimulator PC at FlightsimWebshop we only use A-grade components from major brands in our Flight Simulator computers. This makes our computers a bit more expensive, but is also ensures good quality and great warranty conditions.
Water Cooled CPU
Our Wake Turbulence Heavy and Wake Turbulence Super Flightsim Computers are water-cooled. As scary as this sounds (we know water and electronics aren't the best combination), this is completely safe.
The water coolers we use are a closed system that is best compared to the cooling system of a car. Cool air is sucked through a radiator, which cools the cooling liquid that is pumped through the cooling block on top of the CPU. This keeps your CPU cool (and increases performance) while also keeping the air in your computer cooler.
The cooling system is maintenance-free and, in all the years we've built computer systems, has also been leak-free.
