Authentic Airbus Captain Controls
The Thrustmaster Aibrus Grip Add-On gives your flight simulator setup the shape and control layout of a real Airbus sidestick. This officially licensed, 1:1-scale replica is designed for the captain’s left hand, helping you adopt a realistic control position when flying Airbus airliners.
The grip is designed for PC and requires a compatible Thrustmaster joystick base, which is sold separately. It connects directly to the Thrustmaster AVA, Sol-R, and WARTHOG MKII joystick bases, but is not compatible with MOZA joystick bases. The original Warthog base is only compatible when used with the separately available Warthog Converter.
Precise and Adaptable Flight Control
Five buttons and a dual-mode trigger give you direct access to important flight commands. The trigger can be configured as either a button or an axis, allowing you to match its function to your aircraft and simulator profile.
The built-in Z-axis lets you control the rudder and ground steering by twisting the grip, without the need for separate rudder pedals. An integrated mechanical lock lets you disable this movement when rudder pedals are part of your setup. H.E.A.R.T. magnetic sensors provide 16-bit resolution for the Z-axis and mini-stick, helping the controls register small movements accurately.
Two Airbus Control Configurations
The Thrustmaster Add-on Grip uses an Airbus A300-series airliner configuration as standard. The included A400M module and removable button cover let you convert it into an Airbus military transport configuration. This modular design gives you two distinct Airbus control layouts without replacing the complete grip.
