Description
Hands-On FCU Control
The WingFlex A320 FCU CUBE keeps Flight Control Unit (FCU) adjustments on the hardware, for a more cockpit-like workflow. It connects via USB to a Windows PC and runs through the WingFlex Bridge Software, which also handles firmware updates. In Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), it’s designed to work with popular A320 add-ons such as the Fenix A319/A320/A321 and the FlyByWire A32NX/A380, but support can vary by aircraft. Check the WingFlex website for the latest supported aircraft list.
Switch Feel, Modes, and Durability
For tactile accuracy, WingFlex uses commercial-grade custom encoders (rotary knobs) with up to 30 detents (click steps), giving you clear, repeatable inputs when you make adjustments. Push-pull levers use a 2.2 mm stepless travel range, and the autopilot and autothrust switches (AP1, AP2, and A/THR) have a 2.5 mm press stroke for a more deliberate, cockpit-style feel. The FCU CUBE supports both data-driven and streaming-driven modes, so it can read aircraft data directly when available. A full all-aluminum body and aviation-grade aluminum knobs are built for long-term use.
Lighting That Matches Your Cockpit
WingFlex builds the FCU CUBE around a real-time synchronized dimmer workflow. You can physically adjust the screen backlight and the device backlight separately, which helps you balance readability with a darker room setup. WingFlex also focuses on cockpit-style presentation, using aircraft-like graphics and tuned display color tones so settings remain easy to scan during busy phases of flight. It keeps your night cockpit readable while the look stays consistent.
