Description
Microsoft and Xbox have announced Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 during the Xbox Showcase event. MSFS2024 is the successor to Flight Simulator 2020, which is the most successful version of the franchise ever. The newly announced version will also be developed by Asobo.
Much more information than the official 'announcement trailer' has not been revealed at this time, but what we can deduce from the trailer is that Flight Simulator 2024 will likely include a career mode. In addition, it will be possible to fly not only airplanes and helicopters, but also hot air balloons, zeppelins, and experimental aircraft.
Flight Simulator 2024 will not be an expansion to MSFS2020. In a brief explanation, Microsoft indicates that this is a new product that builds on a 'significantly evolved' Asobo engine.
The release date and price are still unknown at this time. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available via PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass.
