X-Plane 11 is the most recent version of the flight sim series for Windows, Mac, and Linux developed by Laminar Research. In this flight sim, the world is at your feet. Thanks to the open structure both users and developers can improve the quality of every piece of this world together.
After you have installed the flight simulator, you have access to fifteen aircraft. All these aircraft are developed in 3D and have been documented extensively. Besides, you can install scenery of the entire world (based on Open Street Map), allowing you to fly from or to over 35.000 airports. Over 3000 of these airports have been developed in 3D.
User-friendly and intuitive control
Laminar Research made sure to get you up in the air with as little effort as possible, in a scenario of your choice. Its menus are user-friendly and intuitive. X-Plane even makes the installation of new flightsim hardware easy; there is a predefined profile available for most devices.
